The Hope in Christ

It is easy to get caught up in the rigors of the world. Thinking of how much we lack is so much easier than to think of what we have been given, what we have right in front of us. In Psalm 23 King David begins with the simple opening: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not lack anything…” Now certainly, this lack of lack, as it is, is similar in mindset to Jesus’ prayer when He says “Give us this day our daily bread…” in the Lord’s prayer. This is not a genie like asking but a promise from our provider that He delights in meeting the needs of His people. I have this hope in being apart of the Community of Christ, that He, my God and Savior, is loving me and looking out for me as His special child, His lamb, His precious one. What a great hope! What a Lord we can choose to serve! Come be a part of this great Community. Receive Jesus today and know His provision like never before.
